What sets Petromed apart from other companies is the fact that it is a Passion… a Vision… as well as an exciting business. The management may command the limelight, but the real players stay largely behind the scenes – without all of them, success would not be possible.

Where this is particularly vital in the E&P industry (oil and gas Exploration & Production) is in the need for quick decision-making. In our industry, everything happens at speed, and rapid decision-making is absolutely vital. Time is of the essence for our team, solving problems that have emerged and consistently making our operations more competitive, without compromising on safety or productivity or our vision. This required us to construct a business structure where decisions can permeate downwards clearly and quickly.

We practice “lean Management Model (LMM)” as a method of streamlining decision making and insuring that the vision and the economic growth of the company are not burdened by over management; our resources are channeled and aimed to building PetroMed’s long term economic capacity. As well, we practice and strive to perfect “just in time delivery”, having a drilling platform or a seismic vessel arrive too early will cost large amount of vital working capital and numerous unproductive man hours, as well as, having it arrive too late will inflict similar burden on the company and its resources. Just in time logistics practices with exact specification at a competitive price is absolute key to PetroMed’s success and longevity.

With many millions of dollars if not billions at stake and lives at risk, the need for extremely dedicated management practices and team focus goes without saying. Beyond lean management we strive to excel ourselves in operational safety, security and disaster mitigation and management.

Because today’s environment requires multi country operation our management understands that good leadership requires great and reliable communication both inside and outside our organization. Management ensures complacency does not set in when the going is good, and developed the right structure and strategy to weather a storm. Success stems from the love of what we do and a desire to win at all costs. That passion comes from above and empowers everyone throughout our organization and beyond. PetroMed’s vision created a common goal that is a very powerful tool in the quest for success and will reward its investors and believers alike.
