PetroMed has a strong exploration & technical development team comprising professional explorers, geologists and geophysicists with extensive global exploration experience.
This team of selected expert professionals come from both Oil Companies and Exploration Contractor backgrounds giving PetroMed access to all the required key exploration skills. They are experienced exploration managers, project managers, consultant geologists & geophysicists with strong technical backgrounds in seismic interpretation, exploration geology & geophysics including non-seismic techniques and remote sensing.
The PetroMed team is particularly skilled in new venture & country evaluations and have proven experience and skills in exploration campaigns & joint venture operations for hydrocarbons around the world. The team is fully conversant with new and powerful exploration technologies such as remote sensing, hydrocarbon systems analysis, Stress Detection and Electro-Magnetic methods such as Controlled Source EM.
Teams Key Skills
• New ventures, license acquisition & farming/out evaluations, project risking and economics, specialized in new venture evaluations.
• Extensive geophysical and geological interpretation experience, prospect identification & evaluation using 2D and 3 D data sets on most types of modern workstations, but also still accustomed to using paper data for interpretation.
• Experienced in regional and local geological evaluations, structural and geological history, play fairway and lead fairway identification.
• Hydrocarbon system evaluation including seep studies, seabed analysis, deepwater coring, sample analysis and general hydrocarbon basin analysis.
• Lead and prospect interpretation & mapping.
• Using new technology to de-risk selected prospects.
• Risk evaluation and individual prospect ranking.
• Economic evaluations of prospects.
• Excellent in new ventures, new business opportunities, project developments & strategies.
PetroMed technical experts have literally hundreds of years of practical exploration, appraisal, drilling and development experience from around the main oilfield regions of the world, Truly Global experts.
PetroMed’s technical team also includes local experts from the Israeli geological and geophysical community, universities and other private individuals including those familiar with local requirements, rules and regulations for all aspects of exploration licensing and drilling programs.
It is one of PetroMed’s stated aims to conduct all our business activities in a highly safe and environmentally responsible manner. We are developing our own in-house QHSE standards and codes of conduct to ensure we adhere to and exceed our high expectations.
